I hate tech. There I said it.

Anywho, I had some time today to try and update the ctha facebook page. STUPID thing. I created a page that went under the heading "The Canadian Stiga Table Hockey Association" It seems my last attempt just went under my own facebook page, so I wanted something unique.

All was going well, when I tried to attract friends. Then FB asks for my name. NOW the freaking thing is listed under John F Cooke. No no no I wanted it to stay as the CTHA
.

anywho, it's a work in progress. Some of you will get a friend request. Some won't? How it chooses I have no idea.

wish me luck

john

Boy oh boy, iWeb, the program I use to maintain the CTHA web site is a buggy piece of junk. Anywho If anyone cares to hit refresh on their browser and let me know what you think ...

In other news look for a Toronto Stiga event Nov 26th. Details to follow.

The latest CTHA site has a very nice look..good work John

Under "Membership" or "Rankings", it might be advantageous to also have a link to the Canadian specific ranking as shown on the USTHA site per below

Thanks Old Timer;
I should better explain the CTHA's stance on rankings, and include that link.

My main thing is ... creating and adapting a system, then compiling the rankings lot of work. I appreciate those that do it.

But Minimum of 16, 233 strength of field points, 4 players for bonus, that all sounds like school to me, and I am glad I am out.

The only time I have seen the rankings, effect the game, is when we line up the first round talent into even groups.

So to keep it simple, we are following ITHF rules of play, it follows we should use their rankings as well.

And as you know nothing is perfect. If Bruce (or others) shows up to a tournament it ca throw the system out of whack.

But hey i love 'em personally. A big day was when I cracked top 1,000 in the world.

anybody else?

See what I mean! Glitchy piece of junk.

I updated the ctha site for a link to the USTHA rankings and the freaking thing goes to the ITHF.

A conspiracy? No just a glitchy peice of junk.

... working on it.
