Doe anyone know anything about a winnwell hockey game that has a plunger type action on the rod so as to have the player slap the puck.

Is this game any good, does that feature work at all?

I have a chance to pick one up in good condition but I know nothing about this game, is it worth it.

I own one. Ya it does suck, I agree... very flimsy, easily breakable players/rods (rods don't slide very smoothly either)... seemed like a cool idea on paper with the slap shot mechanism and all, but doesn't work well in the real world.

My 3 cents.

Not to mention that it's really easy to shoot the puck into the face of your opponent in the heat of play, potentially injuring them... Surprised
