Games - Eagle - Official Hockey (1962) - Model 561

I received this Eagle table hockey game for a Christmas gift in 1962. My parents kept everything, receipt from ACE Hardware, instructions, the box, etc. "No. 560 in Canada, No. 561 in U.S.A." It has been played with over it's life and still functions. This item was from when there were only SIX teams in the NHL: Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The game players are the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs plus the blank spare player. Instruction sheet and original receipt are here ($13.95 + .56 tax, $14.51 total from the ACE Hardware on Orchard Lake Road in Farmington, Michigan). This game is only missing the Maple Leafs player bag.

Editors Note: as stated above, this game if bought in Canda would have been model #560. I am not sure if the US #561 or the Canada #560 differed in any other way but the model number.
